The cheapest quote is just the first thing you pay.
We are not going to tell you the other guy is a bad person. He is probably a nice guy with a truck and a good price. He is just not a builder. These lights hang on your roof, they tap into your electrical, and someone has to get up there and do it safely. A 150 ft roofline lands around $2,100–$2,400 with clips, about $2,850–$3,000 in a hidden channel, or $1,800 labor only.
